This is to respectfully request for the reimbursement of the TATAP approved budget in the amount of Php 1,350,800.00 which was used to purchase equipment and supplies in connection with our athletes training activities for their participation in the recent 26th SEA Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 2011.

4th Philippine National Open and Inter-scholastics Table Tennis Championships
The Table Tennis Association of the Philippine (TATAP) would like to invite you and your team to the 4th Philippine National Open and Inter-scholastics Table Tennis Championships. This event is scheduled from April 1-4, 2012 at University of the Philippines Spear Gym, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
This tournament expects to draw more than 500 participants from the different Local Government Units and top schools, colleges and universities all over the country vying in 16 different events which includes the traditional "Liha" sandpaper event. In conjunction with this, the TATAP election will also be held.

Trillanes elected TATAP President anew

Senator Antonio "Sonny" F. Trillanes IV has been formally elected as President of the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP), the governing body for the sport.
Trillanes, named head in acting capacity prior to his election, has been elected by TATAP's board of trustees last October 30, 2011 at the TATAP Office in Malate, Manila.

6th Mayor Celso L. Lobregat Table Tennis Cup 2011

The Metro Zamboanga Table Tennis Association (MEZATTA) in cooperation with the City Government of Zamboanga and sanctioned by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines will host the “6th Mayor Celso L. Lobregat Table Tennis Cup 2011” on October 7-9, 2011 at the Yubenco Star Mall, Putik, Zamboanga City as part of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2011 celebration.

ITT's McAfee Praises Philippine Table Tennis Coaches
McAfee, a former USA national player, said over the weekend during the 1st Level 1 Course and Course Conductors Course that Filipinos are very hard working and determined to learn the best and effective ways to teach the sport.
“There are more talents and more supports although there’s a lot of work to do in Philippine Table Tennis,” said McAfee, noting that the country should prioritized producing good coach also.

TATAP to complete in Netherland WC
THE Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP), headed by Acting President Jose Ortalla Jr., will send six athletes to the 2011 World Table Tennis Championship that kicks-off May 8 to 15 at the Ahoy Indoor Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Ortalla Jr. said he is very thankful to the Philippine Olympic Committee, Philippine Sports Commission and Makati City for providing the budget for various expenses like billeting, food allowances and transportation, among others to make the trip possible.

We wish to announce the forthcoming Philppine National Games to be held on May 24-28, 2011 at Don Hilado State College, Talisay City. This significant event expects to draw around 500 players from the different schools, clubs national institutions and local government units all over the country who will vie for 12 categories organized by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC)
